Commissioners plan meeting to prepare for work session with City of Tonganoxie
The Leavenworth County Commission on Thursday planned for a Monday afternoon work session to discuss its County Road 1 interlocal agreement with the City of Tonganoxie. The work session is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at the courthouse.

A former church music director has been sentenced to 150 months in federal prison for setting fire to the Sunflower Missionary Baptist Church in Leavenworth, U.S. Attorney Lanny Welch said today.
