Merrick and Weger

Kristina Diane Merrick and Nicholas Lee Weger, both of Washington, D.C., announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Herb and Carolyn Merrick, Lansing. She is a 2000 graduate of Lansing High School and a 2004 graduate of Missouri State University. She is an assistant to the Chief of Staff at the Office of the Republican Whip, Rep. Roy Blunt, R-Mo.
The future groom is the son of Thomas and Kaye Weger, of New Albany, Ind. He is a 2001 graduate of Hazelwood High School in St. Louis, Mo., and a 2005 graduate of Missouri State University. He is an analyst with the Recording Industry Association of America.
The couple plans a Feb. 16, 2008, wedding in Forsyth, Mo., and a reception in Springfield, Mo.
