City Council meeting agenda

The Lansing City Council could award a construction bid for the first phase of a new Lansing City Park, to be located on Gilman Road west of Kansas Highway 7 in a regular meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 800 First Terrace.
Bids ranging from $1.2 million to $2.1 million were received from 12 private contractors.
According to an agenda packet that each Council member receives, staff recommends accepting the low bid from Oskaloosa-based King’s Construction Company.
Here’s tonight’s agenda:
• Meet in executive session to discuss personnel
OLD BUSINESS
• Consider approving minutes from a Feb. 7 regular meeting.
NEW BUSINESS
• Receive briefing on Parks and Recreation basketball.
• Consider funding a Leavenworth County Air and Business Park justification study at $6,877.
• Consider awarding a bid for constructing linings in cross-road pipes under Willow Drive.
• Hear reports from the city engineer , attorney, administrator and Council members.
