KCKCC baseball camp

The annual Blue Devil Baseball Camp will begin Monday, June 23, and run through Thursday at Kansas City Kansas Community College.
A comprehensive camp designed for boys 7-14 years of age, instruction will cover hitting, pitching, fielding, defense, base running and other baseball fundamentals. Matt Goldbeck, a KCKCC assistant baseball coach and coach of the Royals in the Ban Johnson League, will conduct the camp which will have a ratio of one coach per 10 players. He will be assisted by current and former Blue Devil players.
To be held from 9 a.m.-noon on the Brett-Mears Field on the KCKCC campus at 7250 State Avenue, the cost is $60 and will include a camp T-shirt, radar gun time, games and prizes. Players will be required to provide their own bats, gloves and helmets and a medical release form.
Players are urged to register in advance by calling Matt Goldbeck at 913-579-8605 or 913-288-7348. If they are unable to register in advance, they may register at 9 a.m. on Monday.
