County under flood watch

At 6:15 p.m. Sunday, the National Weather Service placed parts of northeast Kansas, including Leavenworth County, under a flood watch.
Construction work set to begin Monday on U.S. Highway 24-40/Kansas Highway 7 interchange

Weather permitting, construction will begin Monday for the new K-7 and US-24/40 interchange in Wyandotte County. The K-7 and US-24/40 interchange project will include construction of new northbound and southbound K-7 bridges, all new ramps at the K-7 and US-24/40 interchange and all new roadway pavement on K-7 and US-24/40.
Flynn to compete in Metro Classic

Lansing High senior Nick Flynn will take to the mat one more time as a high school wrestler at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the 16th annual U.S. Army Metro Classic Wrestling Dual at Kansas City Kansas Community College.
