Mary C. Campbell
Mass of Christian Burial for Mary C. Campbell, 92, was Saturday, June 23, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Lansing. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Lansing.
Miss Campbell died Tuesday, June 19, 2007, in Kansas City, Mo.
She was born Sept. 10, 1914, in Leavenworth, the third child of William P. and Mary E. Campbell. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics from Saint Mary College, which is now the University of Saint Mary, in Leavenworth.
Miss Campbell was an executive secretary for the Kansas City District Office of McWane Cast Iron Pipe Company until her retirement.
She was a longtime member of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Kansas City, Mo., and then Blessed Sacrament Parish in Kansas City, Kan.
Survivors include a brother, Edward C. Campbell, Leavenworth; a sister, Marge Ascenzi, Pomona, Calif.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests contributions to Catholic Charities of Kansas City, Kan., or Kansas City Hospice House, sent in care of McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Rd., Kansas City, Mo. 64145.
