Karan J. Foster 1947 - 2008 Basehor

Karan J. Foster, 61, Basehor, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at
Providence Medical Center.
Karan was born January 2, 1947, in San Jose, Calif., the daughter of Harlon and
Irene Hendrix Shelton.
On January 31, 1986 she married Larry D. Foster. He survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Marie Schmalstieg, Effingham, and Theresa Louise McCreath, White City, Kan.; a son, Michael William Forge, Leavenworth; a brother, Thomas Foster, Colorado, three sisters, Sandra Jauernig, Leavenworth, Linda Russell, Oklahoma, and Cheryl Wagner, Oklahoma; and eight grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William Shelton.
Karan was a registered nurse for 41 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and her cats.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, May 2, at Davis Funeral Chapel.
