Stacy E. Potter 1930 - 2008 Tonganoxie
Graveside services for Stacy E. Potter, 77, Tonganoxie, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16 at Fowler Cemetery, McLouth.
Mr. Potter died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Stacy was born Nov. 18, 1930, in Clinton, the son of Carlyle and Vera Potter. He was a 1949 graduate of Douglas County High School. He worked as a service technician for General Electric Corp., Kansas City, Kan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Hedgepath Potter, and two brothers, Lyle and Beryl Potter. Mr. Potter was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his son, Stacy Potter, Jr., Kansas City, Mo; daughter, Denise Mead, Tonganoxie; brother, Kenny Potter, Warrensburg, Mo.; sister, Jane Ryan, Emporia, KS; one granddaughter and one great-grandson.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Friday at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Fourth and Delaware, Tonganoxie.
