A memorial service for Dorothy K. (Kensbock) Welch, 84, was Friday, Feb. 8, at Davis Funeral Chapel, Leavenworth.
Mrs. Welch died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at the Golden Living Center in Lansing
She was born Oct. 12, 1923, in Lansing, the daughter of Frank and Rosalie Kensbock. She married Willard W. Welch on June 1, 1948. They were married for 54 years before his death.
Also preceding her in death were three daughters, Nancy Rose, Yvonne Hall and Barbara Chambers.
Mrs. Welch was a member of the Leavenworth congregation of Jehovah's Witness for more than 50 years.
Survivors include a brother, Gene Considine, Fulton, Ill.; three sons, Willard J. Welch and Wayne T. Welch, both of Leavenworth, and Ron L. Welch, Parkville, Mo.; a daughter, Maryann (Welch) Bell, Grandview, Mo.; 28 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
