Cecilia D.Ceil Blankenship, 48, passed away Monday, June 16, 2008 at her home with her husband by her side.
Cecilia was born Jan. 14, 1960, to Norman and Mary Williams (Gabrick).
She was united in marriage to William Mike Blankenship. She spent her life as a homemaker. For the past several years she lived on the family farm caring for her mother-in-law. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters. She loved a good laugh and could find humor in almost anything. She will be sincerely missed by all of her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her favorite aunt, Darlene Peters, and one niece, Lynn Williams.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, William Mike Blankenship, of the home, son William Mighty Blankenship, Jr. and wife, Jamie, daughter Nida (Blankenship) Roberts and husband Wayne, her brothers, Kevin Williams and wife Deda, Robert Williams, sister Ruth Daniels and husband Bill, grandchildren, Alexus, Jaelyn, and Cheyenne, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, June 18, 2006, at the Davis Funeral Chapel, 531 Shawnee St., Leavenworth. Funeral service will be at 10 A.M. Thursday, June 19, 2008 at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Jack Divine will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Blankenship family in care of the Davis Funeral Chapel
