Evelyn J. Chancellor 1919 - 2008 Leavenworth

Services for Evelyn J. Chancellor, 88, of Leavenworth, formerly of Kansas City, Kan., will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 12, at Highland Park Funeral Home & Crematory, 41st and State Avenue, Kansas City, Kan. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Chancellor died Friday, May 9, 2008, at Leavenworth Homestead.
She was born Dec. 22, 1919, in Kansas City, Kan., and was a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker. She was a member of AARP Chapter 1477, Order of the Eastern Star and Sertoma Club of Muncie, Kan.
Her husband, Clyde W. Chancellor, died in 1999.
Survivors include a son, Gary K. Chancellor, Bonner Springs; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
