Gladys M. Steffen 1920 - 2010 Leavenworth

Services for Gladys M. Steffen, 89, Leavenworth, will be 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at Tonganoxie Christian Church, 204 Washington St., Tonganoxie.
Visitation will begin one hour before service.
Burial will follow the service in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Leavenworth.
Mrs. Steffen died Jan. 26, 2010.
She was born Sept. 20, 1920, in Coleridge, Neb., the daughter of John and Louise (Rathgaber) Frerichs. She was a graduate of Coleridge High School and a member of Tonganoxie Christian Church. She was united in marriage to Harold H. Steffen on Jan. 29, 1944, in St. Louis. He preceded her in death Jan. 20, 2006.
Survivors include two sons, John Steffen, Topeka, and Dennie Steffen, Leavenworth; one sister, Pauline Lutt, Wayne, Neb.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
