Alan Kroll, a 2004 Lansing High graduate and current sophomore at Johnson County Community College, crosses the finish line in the 4X880-yard relay Saturday at the Kansas Relays. Kroll plans to run track at the University of Kansas in the fall.
Leavenworth County Clerk Linda Scheer demonstrates how to use one of the county's new iVotronic voting machines. The machines were used in Tuesday's primary election -- a first in Leavenworth County. Election officials reported only minor problems with the machines Tuesday.
