Zac Breedlove, a 2003 Lansing High graduate, competes for MidAmerica Nazarene University's men's soccer team during a game this fall. Breedlove and the Pioneers won the National Christian College Athletic Association national championship this year.

Cara Gorges, Clearwater, left, is crowned Miss Kansas USA 2007 by Ashley Aull, Miss Kansas USA 2006. Aull, a Lansing resident, said she wouldn't change anything about her yearlong reign, which included competing in the Miss USA pageant. Aull, who has been attending Johnson County Community College, will enroll at the University of Kansas to study marketing.
